WASHINGTON, D.C. – Cato T. Laurencin, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President for Health Affairs at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Dean of the UConn School of Medicine, will receive the 2009 Pierre Galletti Award, the highest honor bestowed annually by the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
