Soft Tissue Regeneration, Inc. has successfully developed and tested the L-C Ligament®, a breakthrough biodegradable scaffold for regeneration of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of the knee and for the first time, has a bioengineered ACL that has completely regenerated a native, natural ACL, capable of carrying normal load, after full resorption of the scaffold. The Company is also developing an augmentation device for rotator cuff repair called the STR GRAFT.

News December 29, 2011 - Joseph W. Reilly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Soft Tissue Regeneration, Inc, will present at the OneMedForum in San Fransisco on January 11, 2012. Mr. Reilly will make a presentation discussing the Company’s breakthrough technology for soft tissue regeneration of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) of the knee.


February 2011 - Dr. Cato T. Laurencin, vice president for health affairs at the UConn Health Center, dean of the UConn School of Medicine, and an internationally prominent orthopaedic surgeon and bioengineering expert, today was elected to the prestigious National Academy of Engineering (NAE). Laurencin was elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences in 2004; he is among an elite group – representing approximately 7 percent of the National Academy of Engineering's total membership – elected to two National Academies.
